Why have bariatric surgery at CER Hospital, for one we are not a general hospital we are a specialty hospital dedicated to a two-phase program.
The First Phase patient loses weight and begins a healthier life by having bariatric surgery performed by our Board Certified Bariatric surgeon Dr. Alberto Carlos.
Once the patient has achieved their weight loss goal, then they can consider our second phase program if required.
In the Second Phase, the patient may come back and have their body lift surgery by a Board-Certified Surgeon who is a leader in reconstructive surgery, Board Certified Reconstructive Surgeon Dr. Suarez, Chief of Medicine at CER-Hospital.
You may begin by filling out our Surgical Elegibility Form, which will be reviewed by Dr. Alberto Carlos. It is important to submit as much information about your medical history as possible so that the doctor may have a clear perspective of your case and provide a good prognosis of which surgery will be best for you based on your unique medical history.
Once your information has been evaluated, a Patient Coordinator will be contacting you to provide you with the doctor’s prognosis and to help you every step of the way to make this process for you as easy as possible.
